Till Dusk Do Us Part
A little more than a month until the Winter solstice. Combine that with daylight savings time and everything changes. All of a sudden dusk seems to come before you have even started. That last hour was good for me today though. With a little judicious use of elevation I went 3 for 3 today which I think is my best day in November ever. From here on out this winter if there are no clouds I am fishing till dusk do us part.

ReplyDeleteNice, good fish and November as well, warm in Denver as here until yesterday I see. Modis Operanti for me.

The weather goes down-hill this weekend around here. Been a nice streth of weather.
DeleteNice. I'm leaning toward more dusk fishing myself. Seems to be worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteI just wish I could see in the dark. Gonna get me some fancy night vision goggles.
DeleteHi Trev.
ReplyDeleteOur time is past now as most waters have had a good frost, and have been frozen over. But in just another 6 months time the carp will stir, and my nymph will be the first hook they see. ( I HOPE)
It is a good goal Richard, sorry it is past due on your water but I doubt you have to wait 6 months unless you live in Alaska. Keep your eyes open for ice-out, believe it or not there can be a brief but superb stretch of super activity immediately after ice-out on some small bodies of water, at least around here.
